Like everyone of you, we at Howie’s and Alexander’s have been caught up in a tornado of the events and emotions that is 2020. We are happy to be able to say that when this pandemic hit in January, we responded immediately to the needs of our customers and staff for safety and security. Acrylic dividers were contracted, gloves and masks procured and sanitizing procedures put into place.
As the hysteria rose and toilet paper was scarce, shelves were emptied out and people began to feel the anxiety rise, we hired a certified security guard to ensure that
customers were not packed in the store. New directional arrows and signs are in place and customers, for the most part, have been very understanding and cooperative.
As the events of 2020 set in and we realize we are in this for the long haul, we assure you that our little corner of the world (San Gabriel Blvd. and Duarte Road) will remain a safe, clean shopping experience for you and your family. We thank you for your patronage and appreciate that you have many choices.
