"New California Wine," a term coined by witty wine writer/author Jon Bonné, refers to the next generation of winemaking that has been happening across the Golden State. Wines that have been created to highlight viticultural diversity, more refined styles and showcase the uniqueness of California terroir. While there are many producers that highlight this philosophy, Arnot - Roberts has been at the forefront of this movement for two decades.
Created by two childhood friends, Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts (Robert Mondavi's grandson), the Napa Valley natives started Arnot - Roberts in 2001 with just a single barrel of wine. Today, they focus on highlighting the unique terroirs throughout California. (to read more about Arnot Roberts, click here.)
These wines are also something you won't find in very many grocery stores, if any. They are made in very limited quantities and we try stock them as often as we can.
