Honoring the Fallen

Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance dedicated to honoring the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice. The day honors the more than one million military personnel who have lost their lives in service to our country since 1775.

Did you know that the United States observes a National Moment of Remembrance at exactly 3:00 p.m. local time on Memorial Day? It is a time for all Americans to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by our fallen service members.
