Chef's Corner: Baked Brie with Fig Jam & Dried Fruit


A delicious recipe for all of your holiday parties!

 

Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Dried Fruit

Yields: 4-6 Servings

  • 1 Package 14oz Puff Pastry, defrosted in fridge

  • IIe De France Brie mini wheel 8oz, unwrapped (if you can’t find this brand Brie any 8oz Brie will work)

  • 1/4 cup Dried fruit (apricots, figs, cherries) soaked in 1/4 cup sherry wine

  • 1/4 cup Dalmatia Fig and Orange Jam

  • 1/4 cup Roasted and salted walnuts or pecans, rough chopped

  • 1 tsp chopped rosemary

  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp water for egg wash

1 . Preheat oven to 425 degree


2 . Roll Puff Pastry to smooth creases and trim corners to roughly a 10x14 inch oval.


3 . Place unwrapped Brie in center, top with jam, soaked fruit, walnuts and rosemary.


4 . Fold Puff Pastry over Brie, using egg wash to secure and glaze. Bake at 425 for 30-40 minutes until deep golden brown.
